Welcome Party 2025
A warm welcome to all our new Master’s students! At this year’s b-it Welcome Party, we had the pleasure of welcoming the new students of our highly selective Master’s programmes at our headquarter in Bonn — representing 16 different countries!
A wonderfully diverse and international group that enriches our community year after year. As always, a major highlight: The legendary Kahoot quiz, bringing lots of fun, teamwork, and maybe even the beginning of new friendships.
Additional highlights of the evening included: Welcome speeches by programme coordinators and directors, a guest talk by Transfer Center enaCom, offering valuable insights into the perspectives and pathways of scientific knowledge transfer — an inspiring input for students looking to connect research, innovation, and real-world impact. The Photo Contest Awards Ceremony announcing the winner of the New Students Photo Contest 2025. Snacks, drinks, networking opportunities, and plenty of time to meet fellow classmates, professors, and coordinators.
We wish all students a successful and inspiring journey into the world of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Intelligent Systems, and Life Sciences. Your talent, diversity, and motivation make b-it a truly exceptional place to learn.
Fun fact: Over the years, b-it has welcomed students from a total of 74 countries –quite a remarkable testament to our global community! Thank you to everyone who joined, contributed, and helped make this event such a memorable kickoff to the academic year at University of Bonn, RWTH Aachen University and Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.
