The annual summer school is the main training activity of the European CoreGRID Network of Excellence. The CoreGRID summer school will be held this year at Bonn (Germany), 24-28 July 2006, at the Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology.

The school offers theory courses as well as practical work sessions. The main objective is to introduce researchers and students to the concept of GRID and to practice some existing tools for deploying GRID systems and applications. Additionally, there are two main topics in the lectures this year.

Main Topics 

  • Resource Management in Grids, and 
  • Life Science Grid Applications. 

All lectures are taught in English.
